Darwen Tower was built for Queen Victoria's
Diamond Jubilee, between 1897-1898.
         
The tower stands about 85ft high.

Darwens India Mill was constructed around the period of
1859 to 1871, to be used as a Cotton Spinning Mill.

The chimney of the mill stands around 300ft high.
